Tsubetsu Veneer Cooperative Union at Abashiri, Hokkaido won the 2008th New Energy Award (Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award)

The Coop. is a group of 4 companies producing plywood veneer from Japanese red pine and Todo fir as material ,for which we supplied 4 units of boiler burning wood biomas as fuel for the purpose of providing them with almost total consumption of their heat and electricity minimizing industrial waste and fossile fuel.

In 2007, our these 4 boilers succeeded in achieving 69,000 ton of CO2 in reduction by providing them heat and electricity.
